We are looking for powerful visual stories, not just images. Share your work – and the story behind it – with a global audience.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

At LensCouture, we publish photography that goes beyond aesthetics.

We are interested in:

  • Photo essays with a clear narrative
  • Fine art and conceptual work
  • Street and documentary photography
  • Personal projects with strong intent

We currently accept submissions of original work only; AI-generated artwork is not eligible. Most importantly, we value: Why the image was made

Submissions for the June issue is now open.

What you need to Submit

Please include the following

1. Project Details

  • Title of your work
  • Short description (100–200 words)
  • Optional extended artist statement

2. Images

  • 5–12 images
  • Minimum width: 1200px
  • Format: JPEG
  • Color space: sRGB
  • File size: under 2MB per image

3. Image Information

  • Captions
  • Location
  • Year

4. Photographer Information

  • Name
  • Short bio (50–100 words)
  • Website / Portfolio
  • Instagram / Social links

🎯 WHAT MAKES A STRONG SUBMISSION

  • We look for work that:

    • Has a clear point of view
    • Shows consistency across images
    • Evokes emotion or thought
    • Provides context beyond the frame

    👉 A single powerful idea is better than many disconnected images.

📅 REVIEW PROCESS

  • Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis
  • You will hear back within 2–3 weeks if selected
  • Due to volume, we may not respond to all submissions

🚫 WHAT WE DON’T ACCEPT

  • Random image collections without a theme
  • Heavily watermarked images
  • Low-resolution files
  • Commercial/promotional content

Format: High-res JPEGs, minimum 2000 px on the long edge
Series: 5–8 images with a short artist statement
Deadline: Rolling — Reviewed monthly for the next issue
Rights: You retain all copyrights.
